Kitty Cat Thank You Card

It's celebration time!!! I've reached 100 followers and that makes me very happy. In fact, I'm so happy that if you're one of my followers and you leave me a comment on this post I'm going to randomly give away a prize. The prize is a surprise but I think that makes it fun.

Okay, onto my card. This Kitty Cat Thank You Card was made for the vets and staff at Feline Specialties in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They really helped us with my late crafting buddy and I wanted to show our appreciation. It's been four weeks and I've tried several times to color this kitty image but every time my eyes would well with tears and I just couldn't do it, until today. One small step in the healing process. Well, I really appreciate you stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

My Kitty Cat Thank You Card is entered into the following challenges:
My Crafting Buddy
My late crafting buddy.

  1. I love how you colored this cat. I wanted to color the cat in my previous card orange but couldn't figure out how to do it this well! Awesome!

  2. I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your crafting buddy. Our fur babies always hold such special places in our hearts, don't they? What a darling card to thank your veterinary staff -- I am sure that they will appreciate it. It definitely brings a smile to my face. I saw this cutie at Make It Monday and just wanted to tell you how much I liked it. Hugs and happy memories to you!

  3. Oh Andrea! I really do understand how you feel. The unspeakable grief of losing a furbaby.... I want to say it will go away. But I know that 2 years on, it's just not true. But I will say this: you will think less of the sadness and remember the little angel for the immeasurable joy he brought you. This card is a precious tribute.

  5. A super card for the vet, but a very sad card for you to make. Your late crafting partner would approve. I'm scrolling your blog for a picture so I can see him. Perhaps in another post. Sending you big feline hugs and thanking you for playing at MAWTT, Jx

  7. I can imagine that the vet staff will be incredibly appreciative - I don't think many people are able to thank them afterwards, but you know every single patient has to be in their hearts. It's a slow healing but a huge step in making this - huge hugs, Andrea :)
And, congrats on 101 followers now! I don't know if I'll ever lose that little zip when I see a new person join :)

But I am glad you are on the road to healing and were able to colour the kitty. Your card is so cute - love how you coloured him to look just like your little buddy.
